Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to your most frequently asked questions.

What is a pre-departure orientation?

It is a session we hold before you fly, covering travel documents, airport procedures, banking, accommodation, and what to expect during your first weeks abroad.

What documents should I carry when travelling abroad?

You should carry your passport, visa/COE, offer letter, academic transcripts, health insurance papers, and sufficient proof of funds, all in both original and photocopy form.

How much cash can I carry when departing Nepal?

Nepal Rastra Bank guidelines limit the foreign currency you can carry without special permission, so we advise students on current limits and encourage using bank drafts or forex cards for larger amounts.

What should I pack for my first semester abroad?

We recommend season-appropriate clothing, essential documents, a laptop, prescription medicines, and a few Nepali food items, while keeping check-in and cabin baggage limits in mind.

Do you help arrange airport pickup and accommodation?

Yes. We connect students with verified accommodation options and, where available, airport pickup services before they leave Nepal.
